On Tuesday evening, the 31st, the OAB Rio Grande Subsection held a ceremony in the Chamber of Commerce auditorium to grant appointments to the new members of the International, Maritime, Port and Customs Law Commission (CDIMPA).
The ceremony marked not only the formalization of the new members, but also the strengthening of an essential technical space for debate and the construction of legal solutions focused on international trade, maritime activity, and port dynamics. CDIMPA acts as a strategic nucleus within the OAB, promoting qualified discussions, contributing with technical analyses, and monitoring issues that directly impact the operation and regulation of the sector.
The official table was composed of the president of the subsection, Ary Silva Júnior, the president of the commission, Diego Fernandez, partner at ARB.Legal, and the sectional councilor of the OAB RS, Vicente Antonacci, highlighting the institutional relevance of the commission in the regional legal context.
ARB.Legal participated actively and professionally in this process.
Lawyers Arthur Rocha Baptista and Priscila Juliano Miño, partners at ARB.Legal, along with Guilherme Barbosa Alvira Freire and Henrique Tonio Martins Kajiwara, lawyers from the team, received their appointments as members of the commission.
The firm’s joint presence on the CDIMPA expands its activity in an environment where sensitive issues in the logistics and maritime supply chain are discussed with technical depth and direct practical impact.
More than just being part of a commission, it’s about being involved in spaces where guidelines are debated, understandings are built, and the sector is legally organized.
This activity accompanies, influences, and contributes to the development of the country’s regulatory and operational environment.
